Hi new the the forum and fairly new to reefing had an ick out break in my Redsea 250 caught my 2 cardinals and treated them 2 times with super ick cure they both didn’t make it sadly woke up this morning and they both were dead and now I caught my coral beauty and the instructions are now to do a 25% water change and put filter back on and not to dose anymore but I would like to start to treat her with the medicine so should I use all new water or do the water change and just dose the medicine in !

I would just stop using super ICH cure from API. That stuff is toxic trash. Try to get some stuff called kick ICH. That stuff I heard is a lot safer.

I am also treating my main tank with kick ich because catching all the fish was a challenge and some I just can’t catch but I was told it only slows down the process of ich and you need to treat with copper to fully kill the parasite, not using the super ick holding off till tomorrow gonna go buy cupramine
