Hey Guys,
Been a long time since getting on here. 2 kids have have come along and unfortunately my tank took a big back seat. Sadly most of my SPS and LPS died off and really only softies and leathers remain. I have decide to rejuvenate my take and currently doing a deep cleaning and replacing 20gal of water per day till all water has been cycled out. I would like to add more fish and since most my corals died I’m not worried about coral compatibility with the fish. I would really like a big show fish but would like any suggestions. Below is what I currently have.

90 gallon tank.
Clown Fish x2
Blue Chromis x2
Anthias x2
Tri Color Wrasse
Cleaner Wrasse
Coral Beauty
Purple Dart fish
Purple Dottyback
Watchman Goby
Yellow Tang

Thanks Guys!!

It's awesome that you are rejuvenating your tank! Life can certainly come in the way sometimes. It looks like you already have a really nice stocklist, but if you're looking for a new, big fish you could consider one of the bristletooth tangs. I have xanathurus cream angelfish (very personable), which may be something to look into if you're okay with a more limited LPS section. A copperband butterfly is also a possibility but can be challenging to acclimate to our tanks and get eating. I think that a large anemone for your clowns could also be a wonderful showpiece. Keep us updated!

I also thought that a pretty decent amount of fish for a 90 gal, I also agree that a big beautiful BTA would be nice for your clowns. It might be hard to add new tangs or angels with the current residents. I personally would add an engineer goby or 2...larger, eel like but fish safe, however they are not really "showy" ;)

I leaning towards adding either a butterfly fish (either copper banded or pearlscale) or a foxface. Do you think either would be ok adding with current residents?

Ooohh I would do the Pearlscale! O had one for a few days before my male Watanabei beat her death. They are DEFINITELY on my list to get again one day! Beautiful fish.
