Adding more Radions

I currently have 2 XR15 G5 over a 4ft tank. I want to upgrade my lighting for acros. Would I be better off getting 1 XR30 G6 to go in the middle between my XR15s or add 2 more XR15 G6?

I think it would be very similar results. Are your acros going to be more towards the middle or across the tank?

And do you have a center overflow, if so just make sure if you get the one xr30, you can mount it in the middle if you are using mounts.

Two x15 lets you stagger the lights for better color blending I would think. Since the G5s have different layout than the g6s.

They will be spread out, but I do have a center overflow. I have one of the RMS bars I can hang the lights on.

Why not add LED bars to supplement the existing radions? Wouldn’t that offer more spread and par?

I'd sell the XR15 and replace with 2 XR30s.

I just watched a BRS video on this exact scenario. They concluded 4 - XR15 were better than 2 - XR30
