I am ordering everything for a new Waterbox INFINIA 190.5, and I am totally lost on what to do about lighting. I now have too many choices coming from a Reefer 170.

The tank has a 136.6 g display, 60.5" x 25.3" x 22.6". The glass thickness is under 3/4".

For a mixed reef tank with SPS near the top, I am thinking of 2, probably 3 (ouch), Radion XR30 Pros. However, I also have a Reef LED 90 and an AI Grow Blade (12" only).

Would it make any sense at all to do something like the Reef LED 90 in the middle with 1 Radion XR30 on each side and a Blade somewhere in the middle, probably near the front? I do not want to create a monstrosity that looks terrible in the tank, but I would love to use what I have if possible. The Blade may be too small to be relevant for this tank.

Also, please chime in with thoughts about using something other than Radions or using XR15s.

Thank you for any input!

Thank you! I do not feel confident going to T5 and MH, and I would like to find an LED solution if possible. I definitely agree that everything I see flags top performance with T5 and MH subject only to shimmer concerns (which I do not care that much about).

For $1400 you can have 500w of old school (in the sense that base automation is like dimmable t5's) leds over your tank.
Biggest drawback (besides the old school thing) is lots of plugs. :)
You need to define what you want a bit more.. Only thing atm is you prefer led.. There is more to leds than that.
Btw your color mix is for you to decide. Each bar can be dimmed manually and separately. Manual dimmer is included I believe.

If you want to really go "money is no object" I'd suggest looking at Reefbums tank and the GHL Mitras.
6 Mitras LX7206's @ $840 each. 😱 on a 225gal Now THAT is an "ouch".

You do need to figure out your needs (can't live without) and wants (would like but could live without)
