Hey guys. I'm fairly new to having a live reef aquarium. I've finally got everything set up with my 55 gal and added my first few pieces (green hairy mushroom, stripe saddle carpet, button polyps, and branching hammerhead). My question is this...assuming all of the water parameters are optimal, would there be any detrimental effects if we were to add several frags at one time, or is it better to add one or two at a time.

It comes down to personal preference. Coral have such a negligible bioload that there is no need to have the same concerns you would when first adding fish. Just make sure you dip everything!
