I have a 75 gal mixed reef.
Fish in there are a small pink clown and a 2 inch 1 spot foxface.
I have several corals. A candy cane, elephant ear shroom, devils hand leather, 2 zoas, a pink/red plating monti I think its called, a hammer coral, green star polyps and a nepthea tree.

I was buying nori and some different frozen food yesterday at petco and saw pottles of different types of plankton. Zooplanton etc etc. Should I add any of this to me reef? I am going to be buying pods soon because I know these are a good thing and should not cause my nutrients to imbalance.

Will adding plankton imbalance things and what exactly is plakton for other than food for the corals and other things in tank. Does plakton reproduce in tank? Cause algea outbreaks etc?

In 22 years with big tanks and small, I've never added plankton and only added copepods a few times.

How old is your tank? If I were you, I'd hold off until your tank is more mature, like at least a year old. Do you have any problems or issues with your tank now?

Only issue I have is hair algea and I am controlling that with clean up crew and fox face and weekly water changes to keep the trates and phosphates down.
