I am just getting back into reefing and was wondering about lighting. I have a Kessil A360 Tuna Blue over my Tideline 31g AIO. Back when I used to keep SPS (probably 20 years ago or more), everybody just blasted them with metal halides. I have been running my lighting a little more white, but have seen where some people have added led or t5 strips onto their Kessils somehow to get the more blue color. I have no idea what these would be called and my searches are drawing blanks. Does anybody know what I would look for or have any recommendations? It seems like people run their tanks a lot bluer than what I was used to.

Thank You!!

I use a kessil AP9x on my tank (effectively 2x A360s in a single fixture), and what I did for more coverage and color pop was adding an Orphek bar. They come in multiple sizes and are quite powerful and affordable (see below). You could also just adjust the spectrum on your kessil!

You could add another 360x or maybe a pair of Quanta Helix meso blues (front and back). I have two 360x's and two meso blues on my son's 50g lagoon and it's wall to wall coverage.

I use ReefBrite strips. They have small ones that are for single light modules too. The Kessils are full white spectrum while the strip lights are on. Then go blue and ramp down for the night.
