So I have a 32 gallon tank and currently have a skunk cleaner shrimp. I think the fish are too small to really utilize it as a cleaner and it just massacres the small snails in my tank and steals food from my corals.... I try to target feed it, but it just ends up eating then throwing the large chunk to float and create a nutrient spike... I was thinking about getting one of the smaller gobies that are "cleaners", I'm just curious if there are other options I dont know about.

Current tank inhabitants:
2 Clowns
1 Bicolor Blenny
1 Firefish
1 Pink Streaked Wrasse

Neon and Sharknose gobies (along with their Elacatinus counterparts) are awesome. I wouldn't run a reef without one and they are one of the best cleaners out there. The great thing is they are captive bred and they are always available. They also have great personalities.

This is exactly why I hate shrimp.
Are you wanting something to clean your fish or clean your tank?
Fish, my CUC right now is pretty awesome.

3 nerites
3 Trochus
3 Astrea
5 Nassarius (3 are miniature)
1 Conch
1 Blue Tuxedo Urchin
15 Dwarf Cerith
10 Dwarf Blue leg hermits
3 Cerith

With them and my BiColor occasionally grazing I haven’t had much for algae.

That’s what I was thinking of getting. Just curious if there are some others. I got my Pink Streaked off of comments on here and that fish is amazing. Pretty sure she eats flatworms and other pests too.
