does a air pump in a salt water tank cause bloat in fish? Or what causes that? I bought a clown from a local pet store I've had great success with their fish. In their tank she looked fine and I took a gamble with them. They only had it a day and I should have waited a few days at least. As soon as I put it in the tank he was up in a corner fighting to stay upright. Been on side and upside down and head bobbing up towards surface of water. Other clown and tang in qt are fine. The only thing I can think of is spine injury or bloat. Didnt know if an air pump in tank causes bloat

The male is trying to push her along. If its not behind that wire it will start to float upside down.
