Any suggestion on storing sand? Water and rocks going right back into the plastic bin with a pump. Do you think it leaked because it went above the max line? I can't imagine though because when i had it running vinegar and water all chambers were filled completely...#dangit

Southern California. City of Bellflower. You're to kind. I have something in the garage I'm gonna pull it out in a bit. It had cracked rim so I was planning on fixing it with blue colored epoxy.

positive its leaking and not just a spill?

Spilled water travels in very odd ways

Your sand can be stored right along with your rocks and water.
Well. 100 percent I'm not but there was one line in and with the pump off and line out if the tank it was still flowing. Yeah I'm happy to find out now rather then at 6 am Sunday morning right lol

Bummer. I hope you are able to repair the tank quickly. Sand can be rinsed and stored dry and you can put rock into large tub with powerhead and lid (keep out light) for quite a long time. Just change water every so often on rock. If you want some live sand, just store a couple cups with the rock. I would not try to keep the sand alive unless you know the tank will be fixed within a day. JMO
Good luck!
