Hi all, hope you are having a good weekend? I’m trying to get better flow on my tank…. Dimensions and example tank photos attached. The tank is shallower than it is deep. Currently I have two mp40’s in the middle of each side panel facing each other. Does ok but a lot of dead spots, has anyone any thoughts or experience having them at either side of the panel from the other? The return nozzle and weir on the tank are to the right of the display.

Have you tried off setting them so one blows down the front and one at the back .

To get the back and forth flow Corals lIke, I’d recommend the Jebao SCP-70 Sine Cross Flow Pump Wave Maker. It has an optional Light activated 10% Flow at night, to give everything a time to rest. Also you can always add another one to the other side of the tank and Blue Tooth to the first one. As long as you resist taking them apart, they’ll last a long time.

In my smaller system I have 2 MP40’s at each end which are offest as suggested but mainly because of the aquascape design

In my large system same thing but with MP60’s and an MP40 in the centre

There is plenty of flow if you run them on high power on programs like reefcrest etc
