Ah Crab!

I found a crab claw (molt) in my tank today.
In some of your tanks this may be a normal occurrence, but I don't have any type of crab in my tank.
So the hunt was on!

I found this guy.

I am quite certain he is a gorilla crab.

He must have been in my tank for a while now (he is pretty big). The last time I added a rock he could have come in on was maybe around March/April.
Never even saw him before he left his claw laying around.

I had a very tiny brittle star on the last live rock I got. Maybe a quarter in size. Saw him one time and that was months ago. Trying to catch a gorilla crab now that I first saw a few weeks ago.

I have heard the gorilla crabs can be a pain to catch.
I got lucky with mine. He was hiding under a lone rock, so I just picked it up and scooped.
