for those of you using the BRS settings did you run the acclimate setting for 2-3 months? I ask because I would love to try this, but I don't want to bleach my corals.

I had the acclimate settings for about two weeks. I didn’t see any issues with bleaching or the lights being too intense

Here is my setup for my 2ai in my 40b mix reef it's been going for about 4 months and I get good growth and I do have a small 20min period of light around 1am the only reason why I do that is because at that time I get home from work and I want to see how the tank looks when I get home

I have slowly tweaked my lights over the last few months from the BRS ab+ toned down intensity to this setting. I have had pretty good lick with these settings. Finally i have 2 acros the are surviving and slowly starting to encrust.

anyone have these files to share ?

If you're on Facebook, join the Aquaillumination Users group- there's a bunch of different schedule files there that other users have created. If not, it's pretty simple to create the BRS AB+ spectrum, it just takes a little tweaking around for a few minutes.

I Run a modified AB+ tried some of the signature profiles before keeping the AB+. Biggest thing is to pick a setting and leave it. The corals will adapt. But I definitely recommend watching the BRS on the AB+ spectrum on AIs and go from there. Just pay attention because the settings are just a little different for each light Prime, 26 and 52

I decided to switch back to the David Saxby schedule.
I adjusted the UV down to my liking. Its the only spectrum I changed.

Hi Ryan,
Why do you not like the UV?

I see a lot of people decrease the UV and others set it higher than the blues...

Is it just the color you like or do you notice something with coral growth?

I just read all these answer about what setting everyone is using and not one of them mentioned how high the light was mounted above the surface of the water. If I have every color turned up to 100% and have the light mounted 3 feet above the tank I'm not going to hurt my coral, but if it's mounted 6 inches above tank and everything turned up to 100%---well you see what I'm saying.

Good point, I have actually changed my settings since my last post 2 years ago. I have added 2 t5 bulbs to my hydra. All lighting mounted 10.25 inches above water. Current hydra settings below, t5s are blue + and run 12:30pm to 6:30 pm. Have been running this for over 6 months now.

I want to start this post so we can all share the settings we have for our AI lights. Aquaillumination doesn't really specify beyond the basics what setting will work best. Everyone post a picture of their tank, a screenshot of their AI settings, and their experience so far.

I have 2 Prime HDs on my tank. After much fussing around to find some settings that I like here's what I came up with. I'm more than open to a better configuration tho.

Tank is an IM Nuvo Fusion 24 (12" deep) and is almost 1 year old with the AI primes running for about 9 months.

Hey Nick would you mind sharing this setting with me?
