i keep getting device clock incorrect every single day, throws off the schedule the lights either dont turn on or dont turn off at the times

i set it to current time it just changes within a day, rebooted lights etc, anyone else had the same experience? getting annoying now as lights turning off suddenly spooks the fish and the coral doesnt open to its max when the lights dont come on obviously!

Are you using mobius? I have the same issue with an MP10

Same issue with one of 3 hydra32s. It would not keep time. I was having issues adding it to the group with the other 2. I brought up the other 2 first then made sure the single wasn't the master. I still have to turn it on last if i reboot them. Its like they ate fighting who will be boss. Its been working but i watch it. I would never shut off.

Have you contacted Mobius to look into it? Maybe they can fix it remotely for you?

I keep having the same problem. It started with the AI app. I reached out, their response was to control it through Mobius. Mobius also can't keep time, so my lights come on overnight and go off in the day. When I open the app, it tells me my time is wrong, and asks if I want to fix it. Sooooo, the app knows the time is wrong, why do I have to approve the time correction? Under what circumstances would a person want the date and time reset to December 1999 at midnight? I've contacted them multiple times. They want me to make sure may app is running the latest version, and provided links to Ecotech articles that, when I click them, open to a page that says I am not authorized to view the contents. I am installing my first Kessil light today to replace one of my AI 64 lights that not only doesn't know what time it is but also randomly shuts off, and also can't connect through wifi so I can't correct any problems if I'm not home.

Oh no that's not possible because ecotech corrected that issue and it does not exist
I've been dealing with it for years and it still happens. The only thing I notice they fixed was where it says tap to fix it actually does sync it and before I had to go into settings to sync it. I just got in the habbit of checking it daily and and syncing it as needed but no longer run lights on mobius. I have Gen 4 radions sitting on the shelf because I got tired of them coming on in the middle of the night.
It will revert to the year 2010 if power is removed from devices which I've come to accept as normal so I go in and sync the date an time if I've interrupted power.
I did recently add 4 versa dosing pumps and have them set up 2 for AWC and 2 as dosers on separate tanks and I have not experienced the issue so maybe something with the devices are the cause and not the app itself? I have a single Nero on a tank and it's the only device and I have never gotten an out of sync notice on that tank. It happens on a regular basis with radions and vortechs.

Seems like such an easy fix to implement but low and behold....we are still here years later. Its become so annoying that i considered running a single program 24/7 so it does not matter what time it is but taking it off mobius would do the same thing so its kind of a draw. I enjoy running nutrient export mode in addition to reefcrest so i just deal with it not knowing what time of day it is.

My advice if its happening is to get used to it or change gear. When I contacted CS once they're fix was to sync the app. That was really helpful because I can't read lol.

Evidently it did happen with the Nero.

so theyre all in the same group but just the one thats going wrong make sure its added last and its worked? i have 3x too

theyre useless, so much money for what! i did get them second hand but people are saying even their new ones have the same problem

hahah i have a bad habit of not charging my phone, its currently 5% as i type this, definitely the reason my battery’s horrendous, do i ever have any luck with devices
