AI Hydra setup issue

I bought these used (the guy I bought them from used them for four days) and just plugged them in and have seem to run into a problem. I think he may have entered the serial number for them into his myAI account. So basically when I just tried to enter the serial code on my myAI app so that I could set them up, it asked me for a password which of course I don't have. Any ideas to get around this? Any type of reset I can do? Can he unlink them from his account?

Okay I actually just factory reset them and that seemed to do the trick. But isn't one supposed to be the parent and one the child so whenever I change something on the parent it automatically carries over any changes to the child?

I toyed with the light settings and figured it out lol.
