Hello guys,
I recently got the ai prime 16hd and am currently using the saxby scheduling. I run a 30gallon tank 36x12x12. How much should I lower the intensity to make sure its good for corals when I add them. Also is intensity the amount of watts being used?

Why would you lower the intensity?

You don’t need acclimation mode or to lower the intensity of the lights when adding corals. That’s reserved for when you change from one light to another.

On the other thing about power usage this is all I got. Notice at the top of the screen shot it says 35W

I have AI Prime on a 15 gallon softie tank (mushrooms and zoa's) 12" depth set at 70%. You have the same depth, so I would set it at 75%-80% and see how it goes.

The problem is that the light advertises a 24" width capability (at 100%), but in reality its more like 16"-18". So your 36" length will be a challenge, see how it goes but you might want to consider a second one for the length.

Ohh ok I thought I had to lower the intensity a little since the saxby is made for a huge tank so I had no idea if its suitable for a smaller one. Thank you for the screenshots I get the usage part now thanks!!
