Hello all! Sorry for the noob questions I couldn't find what I was looking for in a search.

Just picked up this light tonight. This is my first saltwater tank and first light. I'm not sure on intensity or schedule. What are most people running? Also, how much ramp time should there be? I have an option for 1-5hours. TIA for any and all help.

Look up graphs of chlorophyll A and C usable light. If you max out all of the blue and violet settings, you will get the most coral growing power out of it. Ramp is optional. I run my blue lights for about 12 hours but you can do less if you want. Do not run the white, green, or red for more than 6.

Using the signature series David Saxby version. I hear it’s the most popular one. Just getting my SPS tank up and running so I’ll have to let you know how it goes.

I used to use that preset, but it makes my dino bloom. Literally change the preset and dinos go away. Turn it back and they bloom

I had the same issue and took the whites way down and the greens and reds almost all the way down for only a couple hours
