Just trying to get feedback on which light you recedes think is better for growing sps. I currently run 2 kessil a350 supplemented with 2actanic and 2actanic+ bulbs and am considering a trade for 2 AI sol deep blue lamps for the kessil's I have and possibly lee imaging the t5's I have altogether.

Should I make the trade or stay pat??

Depends on tank it is going over and how much hight you have over tank. The 350a have 62 deg optics. Sol blue have 40 and 70 deg optics. Lower to tank you will get better coverage with sol blue since optics are wider and leds are spread over 9".

woops typed to fast. I was meaning to say "leave the t5's out altogether" the reason is I could do away with the hood also

I have a 40 gallon breeder so not that deep.

I have 2 AI SOL's if you are interested in the trade. I just took them off of my 125g. There is nothing wrong with them at all. PM me if you are interested.
