Hello. I have two AI Sol Blue fixtures, 6" above the water. It's on a 48×24×32 deep mixed reef tank. Does anyone have the best spectrum and intensity settings for these fixtures? Just did the rental for the par meter from BRS(it will be here today!) So any input would be welcome. Thanks!

It depends on your goals. Are you keeping soft coral, lps or sps? For soft coral 50-100 is fine, lps 100-200, for sps 250-350 par. I would recommend raising the lights some to get better spread, 6" is pretty low. Mounting height, intensity and spread are all dialed in with the PAR meter.

Thank you for your reply! I have soft and lps right now...but who knows what the future holds! I would really like to get clams!! My tank is built into the walls so 6" is all the head space I have over the tank!!! We rented the par meter from BRS so I was just looking for guidelines!!
