Aiptasia heck

I got a tiny question for the people who got rid of their aiptasia, i tried as of today a few things i tried in the beginning aiptasia X but since it burned a few of my sunburst zoa polyps i tried to go away from the chems ... so my next idea was peppermint shrimp kuekenthali lil bugger is not interessted at all same with my redtail filefish guess i got pretty unlucky with these guys and i got one of each that are not interessted in aiptasia soo my hot question is
What did you guys do to get rid of them ?

The peppermint shrimp cleaned up aiptasia for me. I saw 7-8 aiptasias, used Aiptasia X for a few aiptasias, and used epoxy glue for 2 before that. But then I added a peppermint shrimp. It disappeared. I saw it 3 days later. I thought something ate it. But after a day, aiptasia started disappearing one by one each night.

I tried to kill a aiptasia on a rock where my kenya tree is on lil bugger appeared in another hole on the same rock sadly i am not feeling pulling it out because i know i have a few bristleworms in that rock that survived 3 coral dips harder to kill then the aiptasia

Since you mentioned the Kenya tree, the only problem I noticed with the peppermint shrimp is that this can happen (it happened so fast I wasn't able to get the filter) :D

berghia nudibranch's but you will need to take out any predators like wrasses out of the tank. also, they tend to hide during the day and will need more nudibranchs than aiptasia since they work slow at first.

could always super glue their head/mouth shut, or use kalk paste to the same effect as aiptasiaX.

Agreed- berghia nudibranches do a great job. I have a few wrasses but they were not interested in eating them, but still better to introduce the nudis at night- they are pretty good at hiding. Once the aiptasia is gone they die as that is their only food source. I will also say while the berghias did a great job aiptasia still has a nack for coming back, but if you get the population down significantly with predators, you can probably manage with the aiptasia x or superglue moving forward.

I tried everything. Lemon juice, aip x, boiling water, kalk paste, super glue, epoxy, several hundred dollars in nudis. Nothing worked until I got peppermint shrimp from a friend in FL. He sells them and all he feeds them are aip.

All the aiptasia were gone in both my 180 and 65 in about 2 weeks

How do i get ahold of your friend in Fl...?
