Aiptasia X, Kalk paste, inject with boiling water, dry the rock completely and re-cycle just to name a few. Is this in an established tank with livestock?

if you have it in a very few spots, I will suggest cut those pieces of LR out. If it is all over, use kalk paste to kill the big ones and purchase a couple of peppermint shrim. problem solved long term...

Its a new set-up only a few days old. My live rock has corals, clams, and other creatures attached to it. So I can't take it out of the tank. I can't do the shrimp at the moment either, the tank hasn't cycled yet. Whats the growth rate on the AIptasia? I can try the shrimp after the cycle has completed.

Sorry for not responding for a while. holiday busy...Aiptesia can gro pretty fast depending on how much you are feeeding the tank. The are perfect in capturing food. I wish others corals did the same. best of luck.
