Aiptasia?

Is this 100% Aiptasia? I already have a peppermint shrimp I just got in the tank.

I think it is aiptasia, although could possibly be some other small anemone etc.

Aiptasia will certainly grow on/in macroalgae, chaeto, etc.

I would echo-examine carefully, cut off and discard any portion of the macroalgae with visible aiptasia. You may get lucky and get all of
it, at worst you will slow and delay the spread.
