Anyone know of a reasonably priced air temp and humidity gauge that can be monitored remotely? Perhaps even send alerts through an app or email?

GHL has it as an expansion card, but otherwise you are likely looking at a fancy weather sensor from the hardware store

yeah... problem is I don't have a controller. I think @TheHarold is working on one for Apex but I could be mistaken.

Yeah I am, but I am not allowed to discuss anything commercial such as a product on this forum or it gets deleted. (Not a sponsor)

One perk of FB ;)

And as I don’t have a controller it’s kinda moot lol

Ha exactly. And Neptune doesn't mind, as accessories that expand apex functionality increase overall interest in the product.

Oooh, I’d be in for an after market humidity sensor for apex. I have a ventilation fan for my sump room that turns on/off based on outside temp, but I’d like it to do so for humidity as well.

I just plugged my fish room fan to a humidistat. It starts whenever it sense humidity is higher that what I set it to be. I have enough of things to care about inside the tank, I let it go automatic for whats outside. I have a small 5$ hygrometer in the room that I can check if I ever feel theres too much humidity. that 45$ investment, and works very well.
