alerts help

I had to update my email, and ever since doing so I get email after email about threads.

Is there a way to only have alerts appear on the page when I visit. I've tried different settings, but can't find the right ones.

Just looking to have the alerts in the upper right when I log in, and not the emails.

Click on your user name then select “preferences” (not “alert preferences”). You should be able to customize your email notifications on that screen. Good luck and let us know whether or not it works!

yea, it was under preferences. I thought it would have been under "alert preferences".

But i got it, so we're all good. Learn something new everyday.
