why do I only sometimes get alerts to threads I follow? I seems I only get the alerts to the most recent threads I went to that I follow.

I believe if you "ignore" an alert (not going to the thread when alerted) you do not get them again until you view the thread again. Maybe the other [HASHTAG]#mods[/HASHTAG] have more info.

This is correct. If you don't go to an alert after a reply is posted, you don't receive more alerts on that thread.

Thanks! That makes sense now. I wish I didn't have to go to every alert to continue getting alerts on a thread.
