I have algae growing on my GSP that’s growing on my back wall. What can I do to help the GSP fight it? Can I use something to gently scrape it off? How did this even happen, don’t coral have defenses against this type of thing?

The GSP is at the bottom of my tank against the wall to start a GSP wall. It’s working, and growing.

The flow seems decent, but can’t be too strong that close to the sand. Here’s a video:

My GSP attacks Algae!
I read somewhere you can use a tooth brush - never tried it though.

Cyano or Dino if you could use a turkey baster not algae
Technically speaking, you are correct. It’s green, most likely not dinos. It’s just crazy that it’s able to grow there

Haha yeah their survival capabilities can not be matched. I have just pulled a shell from under the sand after almost 2 weeks and look who is peaking an hour later?

Same happened to some of my Zoas. Pistol shrimp claimed the rock they are on and didn’t spit them back out for a week or so. They’re fine..
