Hi All,

Bought myself a microscope but struggling with it a bit, might have to get myself a more powerful one as these images are it at its max.

I cant tell myself what algae it is.

Its not overwhelming, but it is relitively tuff. on the sand it does recede at night but not on the rocks, and of course comes back more during day. Its not the easiest to remove as cant really get a grip on it, its to whispy and will just break in hands, only option is to keep removing it with soft brush off corals. Turkey baster helps but not with the longer stuff

Under lighting (mostly blues it looks more brown/red) but out the tank it looks more green to me.

appologies for photos that dont seem to be the best, hoping someone can id it whilst i get a better scope

I'm not sure what you have there, but it doesn't look like any of the bad things! In some of the lower photos, those small linear line things could be a type of diatom. Diatoms come in many different shapes that can be really neat to look at. I've always been amazed to look at the different shapes of algaes under my microscope. But, at least I don't see any dinos in your slides!
