Hi, recently there’s hair algae growing-between my pipe coral.

Should I take it out and remove them by my hand? Or is there any better way to deal with this.
My system is 150gal and it’s just pass the half year mark. My water is at ultra low nutrient though. My refugium is gone all the chaeto die out and even bubble algae on my live rock disappear. Only algae in the tank is these hair algae and I been dosing Vibrant 15ml weekly.

Parameters are listed below:
0 no3
0 po4
KH 8
PH8.2
Ca 420ppm

I did recently sent up a Ca reactor and it’s been running for 3 day only.

I had the same exact issue. I dipped mine in peroxide(50/50 with salt water) which killed off the algae. My pipe coral is still thriving today. If you dip just make sure the polyps are closed up and I would only dip for like 1 min.

Thanks so much. I’ll try that. But there’s also still a lot at the surrounding area. I’ll try to clear out these between them first
