Hi
New reefer since June of 25'. My 12 year old has taken a huge interest in the hobby which this has now become mine lol.
I've scoured the internet looking for other pictures and articles but I can not find anything. This rock from day one had this algae type stuff on it and doesn't seem to go away. Before we got it I put the rocks in a tub for a week with no light and a powerhead. I thought it was gone but the stuff is now all over again I've scrubbed it with a tooth brush and it comes back in a couple of days. It is kind of white in color.
Can anyone give me any pointers or identification to help me better attack it? It's flowy and root like. It also doesn't get very long. What you see is its max length.
I have 2 turbo snails, 7 nassarius snails, and a conch who won't touch it.
Thanks in advance!
