I’ve been battling algae fir some time now! I have 2 clowns, 5 snails, 2 zoas, 2 acans, a Duncan, a hammer and a Rose BTA. I feed clowns once daily and feed coral 2 times a week. I do weekly water changes. My tank has been running fine for 8 months but the algae doesn’t go away! I got phusguard, got red slim treatment. These bubbles in the algae are telling me they are dino.. anyone have any advice?!

Those actually do look like dinoflagellates to me. If that's the case, then the phosguard is actually hurting your cause, since they do better with low P. Do you happen to know your nitrate and phosphate values?

Other things that can help is UV, raising temp, raising nitrate and phosphate.

Sorry to hear your frustration.
Here is my take on it. Get a cheap microscope and ID it. It is for sure Dinos but you have to be sure which Stain it is for correct treatment. I have been fighting similar looking ones for months.

Reed the two main tread in the below links the guys there will give you positive ID based on the microscope pics and for sure will give you great advise based on that how to fight them.

You can read about my experience in my build tread too.

Good luck

Could be light and/or water chemistry.
Without that information, answers would just be guesses.
Can you post all your numbers?
If I had to guess, I’d say N and P high.
