I built this... free with stuff from pile of junk laying around. Been using for 6 months plus. Harvest bi monthly. Got to talking with a friend who daisy chained a bunch of those things (the reactor everyone seems to build) and harvesting is a pain I was told.

All the reactors look good, I was interested in the idea due to not having a sump, I'm running a external filter on my 75 gal.
I'm planning on plumbing it in between the filter and the return. I have no idea if it'll work All in all it's cost me £30/$45 dollars to build

I cant imagine these reactors working on anything more than 10-20 gallons. I needed a 30 gallon fuge to make a dent in nnitrate and phos. And it spikes a small amount when i harvest. Do these have measurable effects? And how big are the tanks theyre on?
I havent tried it yet but i will be buying soon i think.

The avast MR16 holds about 1.5 gallons of water or thereabouts give or take. I do not have the ability for a fuge in my current tank (rsm c-130 aio) or my other setup (red sea reefer 250). My skimmer takes up the entire main chamber of the reefer 250's sump and i dont want to buy a different sump AND fuge lighting and all that. As it sits my second tank is running rox.8 carbon and waterchanges and thats it. Havent tested anything but everything in there is looking healthier than it was before the transfer
