I just finished the design and testing phase today and I'm blown away at how effective this is. The unit uses the Aquablade for scraping (glass or acrylic version) and fits standard Python hose (1/2" ID). I was sick of scraping large chunks of algae after a vacation only to have it float all around the tank and waste some of that expensive filter roll. So I decided to work on something that as you scrape it immediately gets pulled from the tank. It's a great way to clean while doing a water change. I'll sell this individually and as a kit. Below are the details.

Scraper Vac w/ Handle (10") - $22
Scraper Vac w/ Handle and 2 Extensions (26") - $30

Quite exciting looks amazing ... 3D printed? How well does it hold up?
Yes, works very well. The extensions I won’t due yet as they are still too fragile and working on ways to strengthen. The scraper vac with handle is quite strong and have used extensively (11” long)

Not sure if your still working on extensions -maybe you’ve already figured it out- but maybe if the handle is hallow you could have rings on the inside that acrylic rod can slide into to provide a spine.
