Is there another way to factory reset? While trying to get the app to hold time&schedule the light now when plugged in will turn on for a minute then Goes dark and no longer shows up on my phone in wifi for direct connect. The buttons are flashing blue trying to find wifi I believe. When I hold the middle button to rest like it says in the quickstart guide it does nothing. Don't know how I'm supposed to connect now.

I have found that not updating the time is best for me. Just using factory time zone and adjusting from there.

Have you tried unplugging the power for a bit and trying the middle button again?

Does it forget all light setting after power cut, or only reset to china time zone?

I've bitten the bullet and ordered 5x of the updated X30 Blue's with CREE Led's and Meanwell PSU's. Will feed back when I eventually receive them over here in the UK!

Just thought I'd update to say I've received my 5x X30 Blue+'s, and the quality seems absolutely spot on. Apart from the few differences like the power cable coming from the back vs the side on the 'real' XR30, it looks a heck of a lot like a Radion.

Whilst they're not mounted over the tank yet as I'm still working on my motorized light frame, they seem to be holding settings well when power cycling and unplugging them etc - But time will tell, as to whether any issues arise.

I've gone a little overkill with 5x fixtures that'll be running perpendicular over a 5ft tank, but at least the spread should be spot on!

Thanks, did you have any issue connecting with the updated 5g? I'm considering getting a couple of these, but have had issues when 2.4g is required.

I use the A8sPro… I e use 3 of them over my 120, and they have been going strong for the last 4 months. I’m as happy as you can be given the fact that they are a Chinese import. 3 for less than 1 of the popular brand, so far so good…

I am planning out my lighting for my build and was interested in hearing thoughts.
I am going to run 3 a7ii (kessil a360x knockoff) to get that nice shimmer. The kessil do not get me the par I need so was debating between 2 a7(not sure s or se or pro yet) or 2 quanta altas. Price is not a factor so much, the quanta pair will cost me $100 more than the a7s pro.

A8s is more in line with the x30 pro than the blue. Someone outlined the s vs se vs pro. Its led and driver thing. Chinese led and Chinese power, cree led and chinese power, cree led and meanwell power.

X30 blue as the name suggests have more blue LED than white, and a lot less green and red LEDs.

A8S mimics the XR30 Pro spectrum while the X30 is like the XR30 blues, but with more white LEDs

Hello i have been using this light for the past half year, works great i have it at 50%. Anyways i do have a BIG problem with it but i don t know what the problem is exactly. The light connects to my girls phone iphone 13 pro max with sim. And it connects to my dads phone iPhone 15 pro max with sim but it doesn t work on mine iphone 14 pro max with esim( i have the american version of the phone) I quadruple checked all the settings i could find and they are all the same but ob my phone it just doesn t show the direct connect bottom. Any advice ? maybe i missed something. I ve spoken to staff from aliexpress twice now, haven t received a solution to my problem just instructions that i have already tryed( resetting the light wifi etc ) even phone settings :) . Thanks any advice ia welcomed

It is probably recording them and not you, so don’t worry about it. How is your growth btw? Thinking about taking the plunge.

Well growth is decent nothing crazy but colors are really nice. Tank is only 1 year old
