Does someone disassemble this lamp and make photos of parts inside the case? ;P

Thinking about pulling the plug and getting 4 A8 for a frag tank project that I have.
Can anyone of you share pictures of your tanks? How are they compared to XR30's is the par output there?
How are the colors? Have they improved the app?

1. The PAR is basically the same for my A8 vs XR30 Pro.
2. The Colors are basically the same if tweaked the same.
3. The app is better but still not great, I don't mess with my lights constantly so nonissue for me. I highly don't recommend linking them as it causes some issues in my experience. What I do is set one schedule how I like and save it than apply it to each light separately. Make sure you check for firmware updates once you have them connected to Wi-Fi.

Was thinking on getting lights for my 24” cube… Tried consulting the seller regarding the A8 Pro…

These are some info I get about all the models from the seller. Pretty helpful. He also gave suggestion.

So hope this clarifies some of your needs on information on these lights.

Seems like A8 Pro is more leaning towards G6 Pro I assume with 8 Channels you can control. While the X30 Blue+ is ‘similar’ to the G6 Blue version but only with 6 Channels to play with.

Yes but you have to widen the holes a tad bit on the slide as the holes are larger on the A8.

Will the hanging bracket work on a rimmed tank?

I can only find one photo of the bracket and it looks like it's made for rimless.

I honestly am not too sure as I never ended up buying this light. Perhaps @Joker Corals may be able to chime in as they sell this on their site.

These lights are amazing, running 3 on a SPS tank and getting 300 Par through out the bottom of the tank with ease at 40% intensity

20 inch depth and lights are hung 10” above tank. SPS sits on plates on the bottom glass.

The PAR is almost all from blue also, whites are at 7%, 40% blue...

Can somebody tell me how to reset these lights? Nothing is working. Already tried to hold the middle button for 5 seconds and it's not doing anything.
I have 3 A8se lights. One is working but 2 lost connection and I can't access them from the app.

This is the manual. Not a lot of info :)

To answer my own question above, my lights could not restart last night after loosing connection with the app. I tried unplugging them, tried pushing the middle button for 5 sec, 10 sec, 3x 3 times (something that's written in the manual) but nothing happened. I decided to leave them for two hours and then retried unplugging them and everything worked. My bet is some server in China wasn't working properly :)

Just bought A8se, my friend also bought it same time ago. I'v got A8se friend also. But in app i have 8 channels vs 6 in my friend app, my App is version 2.1.1 my friend also. But when we link our lamps in active info we have difference my lamp is named as A8-SE8 when my friend A8-SE5. Is it about upgrade fw?
