Be careful what seller you pick. I purchased 2 lights from a seller with no issues. The 3rd I got from a different seller and nothing arrived and I'm still trying to get a refund months later. Aliexpress has a real headache available for you when trying to resolve packages that don't arrive. So far I'm out 230 bucks and no light.

Can’t you just challenge the payment on your card?

Ive not had that issue, but they also make it difficult to be sure you get the light you want IR pro, pro max, pro max blue, cree leds etc. And with each selection the price changes.

I just bought two from two different sellers, we'll see how this turns out. It was a pain selecting the correct light because the sellers change the names ever so slightly. I got the A8 Pro II Blue w/cree led's for both.

I ordered from the yzy place as well a couple of weeks ago and it said the delivery window was between 9th - 15th so will find out in the next couple days or not.

Ordered a light from Skynuo store and it turned up fine. I agree though, really confusing when different sellers list it with different names.

This may be of a good FYI for all of you buying from Aliexpress. When you pay online, Aliexpress holds your money in escrow until your package arrives and you select the received package button. Then Aliexpress issues payment to the seller. If the package never arrives or is lost after 30 calendar days, Aliexpress returns your money in full back on the card it was paid on.

Shipping is faster if you buy from sellers with stock already in the US. Look for shipped from US.

Refund is only issued if in their system it was never delivered at the 30 day mark. I'm on my 3rd light and this one got lost. I've been on the phone for the last week with aliexpress and they stated if it doesn't arrive in 2 days which will be 30 days then they will return my payment in full.

Well, I would say its worth the wait to get a new one. They really are good lights! The price keeps going up too.

I have read the whole thread and am contemplating buys some of these lights.
I see the issues with the leds coming unsoldered.As far as I can tell from reading this thread the issue has not occurred with the cree led lights, is that correct,TIA

I don't see where I stated where I was purchasing the light from.They are available from several sources including Amazon,eBay and brick and mortar stores in the USA and of course the two ali online websites.From what I have read nearly everyone who HAS purchased off ali Express and has had an issue they have received good support from the seller.More than can be said for the ease of support from the USA based brands which charge a premium for the so called support advantage of purchasing from a USA based company.
I have not decided if or where I will purchase from,hope that answers your question that was irrelevant to mine.

I'm not sure why suddenly there is a huge influx of questioning and concern on where to buy or who is legit. When you order from whoever you are ordering from, just make sure you're getting the specs you desire and order it. As long as the price is around where it should be, I wouldn't second guess it.

I have both cree and non cree .. so far no issues with LEDs but the light control is better on the non cree. The max pro i have seems to adjust the wrong colors in the app
Also i bought mine from aliexpres. Why. Honestly I don't care as long as im getting the best deal.

Aliexpress is 120 cheaper in most cases. Amazon has the same light but the price is way higher. I have 2 A8SE II lights and love them. No problems what so ever. I have ordered several other things from Aliexpress with no issues until now. I got a refund for my lost shipment and would buy again. This was the carriers fault. I'm never in a hurry or expect things on my doorstep in 2 days. Aliexpress is 2 weeks delivery from China.
