Can it be my salt I just start a new bag but it say salt in good indefinitely
High possibility. Dilute some alk and add to tank and see if there is any rise in number. If so, salt may be low on content

Anyone ever heard of using Coralife a/b say it balances alk but I use fuel I don’t think it good to use if I used the other right
Coralife isn’t the best when it comes to supplements and two part. I’d suggest to use at least Brightwell Code A and B. Or RedSea ABC (this case it’s B for the alkalinity). Those two at the basic two part aside from B-ionic 2 part.

You can also use sodium bicarbonate as suggested as it is the cheapest and readily available in the pantry and grocery. just use the calculator provided in the posts.

I did a 10 percent water change with Red Sea black lid and got my KH to 8.0 on Saturday did a KH test today and it is at 7.2
Dropped .8 in 2 days. Going to do another test tomorrow and see if I can figure out my consumption rate to start dosing safely. This is a good idea?

Yes, knowing your alk and calcium consumption will help maintain stability. I monitor Alk and PO4 nowadays (thanks to POTO's process) where alk consumption slows down, the phosphate might be out of range.

I have the Red Sea alkaline

I'd dose half first (around 2.5ml) and observe how much it goes up as to not shock the tank. Test alk an hour after dosing. Dont have to raise it up to your target immediately. Slowly acclimate the tank to it.
