Alk at 16 Ca at 400 everything else is golden should I worry about my alk being so high everything seems fine

You sure your test kit is correct. Cause it is almost impossible to have all 16 and cal 400. What is your magnesium in the 900s. I think your test kit is bad

It either 380 or 400 don't have a magnesium test kit it's just I overdosed with my 2 part

Alk is at 15 just rechecked and calcium is 380

I prefer Alk @ 8 DKH. My whole tank would stn/rtn @ 15dkh.

Yea everything seems fine I just pulled a bone head move and dosed both cause of my low calcium levels

Don't dose any for couple of days and check again. Hopefully the cal stay at 380 while the alk comes down. You should check your magnesium so you can check the balance cause most likely something is being compressed
