Alkatronic placement

Hi Peeps, just got hold of an alkatronic. I've got an aio with no sump and the only place I can put the alkatronic is under the tank in a cupboard.

Is this going to cause me problems with a back syphon from the water feed? Any tips?

I don’t think it should cause any problems. My Trident is in s similar scenario, ie: lower than the sample line it draws from.
