When would you recommend the lights off?
Id put together a plan. the corals will be fine for a week with low light or days with no light.
just feed the fish like usual?
definitely do that
reduce coral feeding and not feed them at all
not sure what you feed and how often.

Something to think about actually is what your feeding. aminos(coral and bacteria food), phyto(same).

so, for example if you planned a week of low light,or do 8 hours a day instead of 14(me:D). filter socks and start on a tues scrub a little every night, decide whats so bad you want to light peroxide dip maybe, and slam the rest on the week end, stay dark till mon and see how it goes. but watch the coral of course. a capful of bacteria every night etc. and ramp up slowly the time you or intensity of the light and start hitting the light spot feeding. keep scrubbing a little and blowing of detritus daily and see how it goes.


so there's a lot of personal choices and timing and comfort level there
