Aloha fellow reefers!
I'm a new reefer, having only started my first salt tank about 2 years ago and amazingly, it's been going pretty decent so far. So, what's the logical next thing to do? Go big! I've got a build thread for that one here if you're interested in helping me out, I'd very much appreciate it.
My current tank is a nano that I inherited from my brother. I've really enjoyed it so far and have always wanted to have a reef tank, having had freshwater tanks when I was a kid and being strongly (and wisely) warned against it due to the cost and care involved.
Here's a few pics of my current tank.
It's located in my kitchen, where a microwave should probably be, but why have an appliance when you can have a beautiful tank that is visible from the breakfast nook? I love it and it's been relatively easy to setup and maintain.
Anywho, I'll keep this short and just say thanks in advance to the owner of this site for setting up an awesome community of like minded enthusiasts and to all you reefers for helping reinforce my unnatural desire to keep active science experiments going despite having only a very small comprehension of the factors involved in doing so.
