Me too, should start seeing it today as long as it doesn’t stop and take a break!

Agreed, I'm in Fernandina Beach, ready for this thing to come and go!

I can't remember the last storm that was so slow moving.

Fay was a slow moving rain maker for us but nothing since.... Until this storm came along.
We got lucky but please send healing thoughts and vibes to the Bahamas and their residents....:(

Hitting us today also. We are just a few miles north of you in the St Marys area. Stay safe!

@Bryan68 Any damage from the storm? My daughter and I ran down to Fort Clinch today to do some beach combing after the storm. Lots of shells, fish in the tide pools, seen a starfish.

My daughter and I discuss how beautiful yet depressing it is to see all the “dead” stuff on the beach. Then we collect a bunch of dead stuff (ie shells) to display lol
Occasionally we get to rescue living things and throw them back into the sea, like the starfish :)
