can a alveopora be next to a hammer coral? i have a hammer and was thinking about an alveopora but would need to have them near each other

You can always try but hammers can have pretty long sweepers sometimes. I guess it would depend on the flow and how the Corals “move” near each other.

I'd keep plenty of space between them. Euphyllia can pack a punch.

FWIW I have mine right next to each other. They touch all day long and don’t seem to care.
