Am I dealing with Ich?

Had a few spots tiny white spots on both my clowns (right under dorsal fin) a couple weeks ago. I reinstalled my 57watt Aqua UV on my return pump and was running it 24/7 (for about a few days) until I noticed what appeared to be dinoflagellates returning to my display. (Battled them several months ago, and thought I won). Turned off UV. Now, my smaller clownfish appears to have small white dots again (eating and behaving normal), this time a few more than last. Am I dealing with ich? Should I fallow my tank? Or manage with UV? Ordered some TBS live sand and PNS ProBio to help with biodiversity if dinos actually did come back. I do have a microscope but it’s a cheap amazon one and I wasn’t able to get a decent look at the cell structure of what i think is dinos. (Sure moves like Dinos) Plan on getting a better scope here soon.

The spots seem too diffuse to be ich, but the focus on the photos is soft, so it might just be that.

Early in an infection, ich spots will come and go and change location every few days.

These diffuse marks may just be from the clowns squabbling with each other.

These are secondar bacterial lesions which i see often and associated with Brooklynella. Mucus generally starts at the facial area as well as gills and spreads across the body producing lesions as it progresses often confused with ich and can turn into secondary bacteria. Other symptoms, if brook is present will be lethargic behavior, refusing to eat and heavy breathing from the mucus.
Start with a prolonged 60 minute bath of ruby rally pro then at a lower concentration in a quarantine tank. The longer the fish are exposed to the treatment, the more effective it will be at eliminating this issue.

Thanks for the responses gentlemen. The clown is behaving normal and eating well. Actually has a pep in his step this morning as well. Should I act now? I just added a pair of royal grammas, a pair of fairy wrasses, and 5 banggai cardinals (one is missing) 2 days ago. Everyone seems social and healthy, only my larger clownfish is chasing everyone half heartedly. I suppose to assert dominance as she and her male counterpart were the first two in the tank. (Tank is 9.5 months old)

This is not necessarily contagious but you sure can add Ruby Rally Pro for control which is safe to use with coral and inverts and addresses an array of clownfish issues safely
