Wow that is a freaky video...talk about giving me the chills. I didnt know bristle worms can swim like that...they look like little cuttlefish moving around

Man, that's crazy! Sounds like it's a common occurance there in the spring. The article also mentioned that they could bite you? That's news to me.

All the times my fingers have swollen up from touching these guys, imagine getting caught swimming in a swarm like that? Thats crazy

wow. looked like fish not worms. thats crazy. i agree with the above. mroe then once i have picked up a rock only to slam my fingers on one hidden under the rock. figer swells up and is sore for a good couple days sometimes. one here and there does not seem so bad after seeing this

Those are Sexy, I bet they show up on Mikes website as Sexy Florida Mating Bristle Worms $450 a pair.lols

These ones look different than the usual Aquarium variety though. Looks as if they only have bristles on about 1/3 of the length. The rest is like some sort of swim tail....maybe they shed the bristles at some point so they can swim?

Man, I can remember a bristleworm that came out of my half circle tank that was up for probably 3 years. It was at least a foot or two long, no joke. I was in the bottom of my garbage can that I used to move water and rock when I moved the tank to my new house, and it went halfway around that can. It was a monster.

We had a lfs here that had one 2-3ft long in there display tank. Was scarey looking when it would come out lol.

Wow. That is amazing. I too do not want to even think about swimming with those guys. ALTHOUGH I bet you would float pretty good.
