Are you going to use e-marco 400 or some other type of mortar to secure those rocks? Or just the zip ties? I would suggest going with the mortar once you're happy with the structure. It's pretty awesome stuff and you won't ever worry about any rock topples.

Great question, I’ll use emarco 400 in strategic places specially for the next step... good recommendation!

I love the integrated UV on your skimmer, I have design envy!

Always tried to do this in the past with my UV drain exiting right next to my skimmer intake... makes tons of sense, Nuke the bad (and good) and skimm out the dead stuff
