Geez, did you pump that frag full of steroids? Haha
Dude, I was thinking the same.
I had this colony in the background of a grow out contest frag, and this thing literally exploded so I had to take off this piece from the colony.

It secured enough budget for 3years of T5 bulbs ;-)

Lost most of WD colony and did frag it out to 18 frags............
Whatever makes it will be part of a new patchwork colony ;-)

Wow, looking back 7 months now on my only 2 WD nubs that actually made it at the end and survived the tank crash and were used to regrow my WD colony.

Here two of these smaller nubs today ;-)

So this is the Ice Fire Echinata after a few days.
It survived the dipping, and I kept it on the frag rack for two days and mounted it into a medium flow spot with average light.
Will see how this IFE will do from now on. Hoping for the best.

I thought to record this picture here for future reference and comparison.

Update on the IFE........
Since it is in the tank I never noticed any growth or coloration or thickening of the tissue.
I was patient but lost all the hope on this particular species and yesterday I started to notice that tissue is receding.

As many know, most IFE won't do well even in the best tanks. It's hard to make a captive grown coral out of a wild piece of Ice Fire. The failure rate is nearly 100%.
I won't waste my time to cut frags off of it and see if maybe a piece is going to make it that could be used for aquaculturing, but I give it very little chance.

What’s the best doser on the market now? I was last using the GHL 2.1 and loving it.

No idea. Since I got this doser, which I bought the base unit with 4 channels, and later on the extension for up to 8 channels, I did not have any issues, I was not worrying about a doser anymore.
Spare parts I never needed are available so ………..

Pain in the bun job............ changing all bulbs.
As good as the Powermodule is, changing bulbs is a real job.

Did build myself a few things to allow to turn around the fixture on the top of the tank to replace all bulbs. That procedure works for now.

@bubbaque ...... ready for the next Grow out contest ;-)

Kitchen Island shape is chosen........
The remaining material on top and bottom of this granite is reserved for the Aquarium stand ;-)

Was it coincidence that this Granite is named "Hidden Treasure" ?????
@Diesel ......will need a local Granite guy maybe this fall for this ;-)

You know I have a patent on my stand design.
