Decided to post my build thread on a 300 gallon reef tank. I have had anywhere from a 10 gallon to a 125 gallon aquarium and decided it was time to upgrade. Have had saltwater tanks for past 15 years previously freshwater before that. Enjoying the hobby so much and have learned a lot along the way. Here is my start. Tank and sump ordered all acrylic. Delivery day.

Stand design figured out, built and stained, and laquer top coated. Built and finished in room as would be to heavy to carry.

Acrylic Creations out of Butler Pennsylvania. 3/4" all 6 sides. External overflows. 96 x 30 x 24

Tank put on stand. Was heavy and glad wasn't glass as was all two of us could lift.

Had a small cyano outbreak. Few phosphate came from my source water, a triple di system took care of that

Any updates on the tank?

How has it been keeping the acrylic scratch free, I have been debating back and forth between glass or acrylic
