Anemone cannon not working

Hi, I have a bubble tip anemone that I am trying to remove. I have tried ice on foot, powerhead, and pretty much everything. So this week, I went to get some supplies for an anemone cannon. I put it together and left it in for around 3 days. However, the anemone just hasn’t moved. I even added a 45 degree piece of PVC so it doesn’t just stretch up to receive light. However, even after that, it still didn’t work. I surrounded the anemone with pieces of cut sponge so no light could get inside. I am at a loss for ideas, and I need to get this anemone out so it doesn’t sting everything. If anyone could help me, it would be appreciated.

I'd put gloves on and simply remove it. Wedge something under its foot while gently prying it off the rock.

If you have a small tank and small rock, just take the rock out of the tank and work on it. The picture suggest this is the easiest and best solution.

No small tank unfortunately. The rock is also hard to remove. I have tried prying it many times, it is lodged so deep the foot is barely visible.

My wife is a dental hygienist, and we have boxes and boxes of different dental scalers and probes lying around. Those are incredibly useful for removing anemones. There’s one that is basically a thin, flat paddle shape that won’t puncture the tissue. Maybe look on Amazon.

I used a turkey baster and just blasted the foot w water for 5 minutes. Once a piece of foot lifts keep blowing water between the foot and rock until they float off.

I tried using a powerhead, so this one probably won’t work, but I’ll see if I can attach the powerhead to something and continuously blast it.

I’ve used the turkey baster trick as well and it worked great, I think it’s the more forceful blasts at one spot that get it to lift.
