Anemone ID

Hi everyone,

My partner just came home with this new anemone and didn’t ask the name, all he was told was it’s a carpet.

Just looking for an exact ID, it’s sulking in the picture as it’s just been added to the tank.

Yes it's a carpet nem.

It's a carpet anemone; not sure if there is a more precise name or not. These can become quite large and can eat your fish. They should only be in pretty large tanks.

Yes after doing some research I saw it can eat fish!! He wasn’t told that when buying it, funnily enough he was buying a fish at the same time. Anyone had experience with them? Are chances of eating fish high? Considering taking it out the tank
