Got this anemone from the LFS. Was told it was a Sherman anemone. Can anyone confirm or help me identify what it is?

It looks like a RBTA (Rose/Rainbow Bubble Time Anemone) to me. Here are mine for reference. All at different stages.

It’s a rainbow. Purple tips and it’s green at the base of the tentacles

doesnt look like a sherman as others have said but tough call as it is in rough condition.
How old is your tank? what are all of your parameters?

API has good testing kits that you could amazon or get at local petco. The bare basics for saltwater include salinity, pH, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite. They have kits that include all of them, usually around 50-60 clams (not the salinity, will need separate test for that)
just checked your last post. toss those api test kits, they are pretty useless except for the ammonia. they are not reliable.
how are you testing salinity as well? you also should have alk, cal, nitrate (non api), and phosphate if you want to keep corals and anemones. salifert, red sea pro, and hanna checkers are easily recommended.
I feel like you may have been mislead by petco or your lfs

I'm going to second the opinion on API. Ditch them for Salifert RedSea or Hanna. API is prone to testing errors, and you can't test a lot of parameters with them.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. My tank is 4 months old. I did not realize API had bad testing kits so I will avoid those in the future. My LFS had a salifert ammonia test so I picked one up, both api and salifert are reading 0 ammonia so at least that one might be accurate. I have attached an updated pic from today:

My mandarin is very interested in it. I am testing salinity with a refractometer and keep it between 1.024 - 1.026 (post and pre manual freshwater top off Wednesday and Saturday). He appears to be doing better today.

you are past cycling so ammonia isnt really a necessary test kit for you anymore. the anemone and mandarin might struggle in such a young tank though.
are you dosing pods or live baby brine shrimp?
did you start with live rock either from a very established tank or ocean?

nitrite as well is useless for saltwater so dont let your lfs steal any more of your money. ask as many questions here as you want, many, like myself, will be happy to help. i hate it when they try and make you spend money you dont need to
